The medieval house has recently been restored with respect for the past but with today's comfort. All over the house you have high ceilings and the typical Italian local atmosphere. The house consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bathroom (with shower and toilet) is next to the 2 bedrooms. The 2nd bathroom is on the terrace with an outside shower (warm & cold water) and a seperate toilet. Next to that there there is a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with a fire place !
Also there are 2 terraces in the house; the first one (+/- 4m²) is next to the bedroom and the 2nd terrace (+/- 25 m²) is on the top floor. From the roof top terrace you have a breathtaking view over the valley.
The secret of Irsina is that locals and foreign people are peacefully living together. In the center of the village you have very good local restaurants, bars and shops. Also Irsina is one of the "I borgi piu belle d'Italia"
Irsina is in the Basilicata region, but close to Puglia with cities such as Altamura and Gravina in Puglia. Also neighbouring is the city of Matera which was elected as "European Capital of Culture 2014", well known for the famous "Sassi" .
