This plot with stunning views is located at Torremezzo in the Comune of Falconara Albanese  (CS), approx 5 mins from the beach and approx 40 mins drive north of Lamezia airport.
Located in an elevated position, on a small hill overlooking the coast of Torremezzo, this plot is approximately 2000 sqm with unbroken, panoramic view of the sea from south to north. Within the land there is a partially ruined building, registered as such with the land registry office.
Under current planning legislation the ruin can be demolished and re-built to realise a property on 2 levels with a further increase in volume of 20%. This results in approx. 110sqm per level. The land is well connected to the municipal road through a small road.
Torremezzo has all local amenities close by: shops, café bars, pizzeria, pharmacy, a Go Kart track  also an entertainment park that includes dancing, bar and children’s games together with beach bar/lidos in the summer months and a newly renovated lungomare (beach front promenade).
Falconara Albanese has its origins dating back many years to occupation from the Albanians and it still retains some of its traditions with some locals still speaking a form of Albanian. Although it is now a more traditional Italian village with its narrow streets and stone-built properties.
The towns of Amantea and Paola are a 15 minute drive in each direction and as well as offering year round facilities and activities host a number of festivals and markets. They are both busy towns with all the modern amenities: variety of shops and boutiques, café bars, restaurants/pizzeria, gelatarias, pharmacies, post office etc. this blends well with the charming old historical centre where you can meander through the traditional narrow streets and enjoy the true feel of Calabria.  The marina beach front offers beach bars and lidos, children’s play areas and a variety of seasonal activities.
Torremezzo is also conveniently positioned to explore many other traditional villages and the stunning National Park of La Sila is approx. 1 ½ hour drive away, where you can take advantage of the many year-round activities that are on offer, including walking, pony trekking, quad bikes and in the winter months, skiing. Close by are the Thermal Springs at Guardia Piemontese offering curative mineral waters and mud baths for a variety of conditions with the Terme Luigiane providing Spa treatments from May to October.  Located at the Grand Hotel San Michele at Cetraro, approx. 40 mins drive north there is a 9-hole golf course. Kite surfing at Gizzeria is another option as is rafting at Scalea, both within an hours drive from where the plot is located.
