LOCATION
Giungano is located near the Tremonti Gorge, the access point to the Alto Cilento from the Paestum plain. At its foot, the two streams Solofrone and Tremonti join in a landscape of gorges and caves. The Tremonti Gorge is particularly suggestive.
The landscape surrounding Giungano is rich in the typical Mediterranean vegetation that has made this area a protected uncontaminated corner. Nature lovers will be able to admire, among others, the fresh beauty of the Elci forest, thirty hectares of Mediterranean scrub, or the green banks of the Tremonti river. It can be walked along a path that leads to a stupendous waterfall.
