LAMA MOCONGNO (province of Modena) There are some things that are essential for living well in a mountain house.

Cà Valentin is a very ancient house, with large and mighty yellow stone walls and small windows, typical of mountain houses.
The house is high (no information on the height of the sea) in the hamlet of Mocogno, 4 km from the capital Lama. Lama is easily accessible both by car and by bicycle with assisted pedaling.
Mocogno is a hamlet of Lama located on the opposite coast of the valley compared to the capital. Here you will find a beautiful church with a very high bell tower that dominates the height under which Cà Valentin stands.
In the village there is also a restaurant obtained from the former primary schools and some stone houses. Looking elsewhere, you will see the blue of the sky and the green of the fields ...

Cà Valentin is a large and beautiful house, divided over several floors and surrounded by land set by flat steps. On these steps you will find a variety of plants, from rows of vines to fruit trees, from ornamental plants to olive trees. And all around, a sea of flowers.

The house, as I was saying, is divided over several floors: on the lower floor there is a beautiful cellar used as a basement, while above there is another cellar with bathroom, used as a guest room.
Upstairs there is a real house. With access to satin from the portico which also houses the oven and the grill and access to the garden the house is ppre in the living room with fireplace sofa and panoramic balcony. From here three steps take me into the charming and very bright dining room with exposed roof. There is a red kitchen next to the bathroom on the ground floor.
Throughout this floor the walls have large exposed stone surfaces and have many lit niches.
I climb the iron staircase and go to the two bedrooms. beautiful and large, one of which also has a private bathroom.
I go up and I go into the attic area wonderfully finished which houses a beautiful sofa and a large TV.

Well, outside there are several buildings. the main one is used as a woodshed with a beautiful shed above to accommodate two cars.
