The lower secondary public schools are located in Soliera (5 km and 10 minutes drive with public transport service); the secondary public schools are located in Carpi (15 minutes drive) and Modena (25 minutes drive, connected to public transport); in Modena there is also the University. Public hospitals are located in Carpi and Modena (Baggiovara and Policlinico).

The village of Sozzigalli, (common of Soliera, in the province of Modena, in the Emilia Romagna region), is the central location in northern Italy and close to the most important art centers:
- Modena a 25 minutes drive,
- Bologna, Verona and Parma within 1 hour drive,
- Florence, Milan and Venice for around 2 hours by car;
and tourism:
- Lake Garda just over an hour away,
- the Romagna coast (Remini) very rich in amusements for 2 hours,
- the Tuscan coast (Versilia) in 2.5 hours.

At 500 meters from the house, a convenient cycle path , panoramic views of the banks of the Secchia river leads to Modena to the south and to Mantua to the north.

The Bologna airport , connected to the main European cities, is a 1 hour drive away. The train station of high speed in Reggio Emilia is just over 40 minutes drive away; from this you can easily reach Rome in two hours by travel.

Sozzigalli is located in the Emilian plain, cultivated with wheat, orchards (pere) and vineyards; it is a place of production of wine Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC and balsamic vinegar.

Numerous and excellent quality the restaurants around, even in farmhouses.

We are in the Motor valley of Emilia. Not far from Sozzigalli is the Marzaglia trail for cars and motorcycles. Nearby are Maranello (Ferrari), Sant'Agata Bolognese (Lamborghini) and San Cesario sul Panaro (Pagani car).

The climate is in winter, it is mild and rarely goes down to zero degrees; very rare is the fog.

In the province of Modena there are numerous cultural, food and wine events.

The village of Sozzigalli is a busy and quiet village, close to two cities (Carpi and Modena); it is pleasant to walk on foot and by bicycle in the well-cultivated countryside that surround it. I myself was born there and I lived there until the end of the '80s, when I moved there for work reasons to Modena. Then it was inhabited by my parents. I would like to sell their home to those who appreciate it, will continue to care for it and again fill it with joy.
