The apartment has two entrances: the main one into the apartment's own entrance hall, and a side one directly into the private sleeping area.

The main door leads into a pleasant entrance hall, from which doors lead variously into the study/smaller sitting room, the kitchen and the bedroom area. The  study/smaller sitting room, has views across the valley, after which there is the large main sitting room, which runs the full depth of the building and has windows on three sides, looking out over the valley, up at the higher part of the old town, and into the maze of alleys of the historic centre. 

From here you can reach the comfortable kitchen, and the stairs to the upper terrace. The stairs lead to an upper room, from which large glassed doors open onto the roof terrace, which has sweeping views. You can also access extensive attic space.

Past the stairs is the kitchen, and beyond that the private family area, with four large bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has a door onto a small balcony in an interior light well.

There is also a share of the old stone cantina.

ARPINO AND THE CIOCIARIA
Arpino is one of the major medieval hilltop towns in the area of Italy called the Ciociaria, the name given to the fertile land that lies south of Rome but north of Naples, situated inland in the hills in the heart of Italy. The Ciociaria region is within easy reach of both Rome and Naples and their respective airports. A day's shopping in Rome is a common pastime, while an even shorter drive brings you to the charming beaches south of Rome.
