Few Notes about Paganico Sabino and the property:
1. Paganico Sabino, or colloquially "Paganicu", is an ancient municipality in the province of Rieti, part of Sabina of Lazio, the central region of Italy.
2. Paganico is located within the 3,300 hectares of the "Regional Nature Reserve of the Navegna and Cervia Mountains" e it overlooks the right bank of Lake Turano.
3. Lake Turano is an artificial lake 8 km long, 3 km wide, with 68 m deep, at an altitude of 536 m and with a drainage basin of 475 km2.
4. Roman times monumental evidence and written documentations confirm that around Paganico prove that, as early as the 3rd century BC, communities inhabited these places.
5. Like many towns in Sabina, Paganico consists of an ancient medieval core-area and a second part of more recent construction.
6. Paganico is currently inhabited by 170 residents who live immersed in an extraordinary, landscaped environment, rich in history, culture and ancient traditions. Among these, 14 foreigners of northern European nationality own a property and happily live the place as true "paganichesi".
7. The property is an apartment located on Via 24 Maggio with two separate entrances (at numbers 17 & 15) and it is spreading over two floors.
9. The entrance at 24 Maggio, 17, the main one, opens directly onto the LOWER FLOOR communicating with the cellar, the living room which has the staircase to the upper floor, the kitchen/dining room, the main bedroom and the lower section’s bathroom.
10. The UPPER FLOOR includes a connecting room between the large terrace, the second bedroom and the second bathroom. This bedroom has an exit to number 15 Via 24 Maggio, the second entrance.

13. Rooms "G" "D" "J" and "O" have a narrow but long balcony running along the entire façade of the apartment. From this balcony, residents can enjoy a direct view of the lake, of Ascrea & Colle di Tora villages and the green woods of the mountains beyond the lake.
14. Upstairs, a 23 square meter large terrace looks to the lake and the mountains beyond it. It surely represents the most attractive and enjoyable uniqueness of this property.
15. The ceilings of the kitchen/dining room ("G") and the storage room/cellar ("C") are original structures built some centuries ago.
16. Paganico enjoys a favorable geographical position that allows easy connections with important natural, historical and cultural sites of the vast Italian tourist circuit.
17. Daily bus services are available to Rieti (43 km) and Carsoli (17 km), the two main towns close to Paganico
18. Carsoli is the nearest and most important shopping area. Along the road that leading to Rieti there are shops, general stores and small shopping centers.
19. In Carsoli exist the toll paying motorway entrance to the “autostrade” network for national and international vehicular connections.
20. Carsoli and Rieti have also railway stations connecting the national & international railway network.
21. Paganico has a permanent ambulance and first aid service 24/7 to regional hospitals
22. Paganico has a post office but does not have a bank branch. The nearest banking presence is in Carsoli.
23. Near the Municipality Building in Paganico, there is a charging station for modern electric cars.
