Historic house in the town center of Ventimiglia, 100 meters from the sea. The house itself dates from the Eighteenth Century and because of the well and source of fresh drinking water, was frequently used by Garibaldi during his campaigns. The house is of circular shape and built over 3 levels. The motive for its circular shape was to allow the mule to constantly turn around the well, to bring up fresh water. The stone structure of the well remains, it is currently covered with a sheet of glass to make a centerpiece in the living room, where it features as a dining room table. External to the house remains all the mechanism for the well. The house is protected by the Belle Arte.
