Secluded and peacefully quiet, the house is approached via a white road only 5 mins drive from Mogliano. A pretty little town that has all day to day requirements. With its medieval hilltop towns, lush countryside, olive groves decorating the fields, and the wonderful food and wine, Le Marche is region full of character.

Close to both the blue flag beaches of the coast and to the Monti Sibillini National Park, this is a great location. It's also close to the dual carriageway to Macerata the regional capital, and beyond to the A14 motorway to the airport and in the other direction the mountains, Perugia and Rome. Important as although there is no traffic noise here, these good roads enable one to travel fairly fast to your destination avoiding the twisty country roads that can make your journey slower over the Marche hills and valleys.

Just along the road is a fabulous winery - La Murola - with vineyards streching across the gentle hills, and also the Abbadia di Fiastra, a popular attraction, an Abbey with beautiful grounds, walks, and restaurants.

Since these photos were taken the house has fallen down, but was already in need of complete rebuild, and it is possible to use some of the original materials, stone, brick, beams and tiles.
