From Riposto you can quickly reach various tourist destinations:
Catania, 35 km to the south;
Taormina, 25 km to the north; Nicolosi, which rises at the foot of the Etna Volcano, about 40 km north-west.
The house is located in the downtown, and is served by a pharmacy, bars, restaurants, as well as by various food and non-food shops and supermarkets, fish market, greengrocers, clothing, nautical items . There are also an indoor cinema and an outdoor summer one.
There is no shortage of the police station and that of the fire brigade.
Riposto is the birthplace of the musician Franco Battiato.
About 300 meters from the house there is the tourist port and a small beach of pebbles and rocks protected by breakwaters, very popular in the summer.
About 1 km to the north, begins the vast Fondachello and Marina di Cottone beach, with coarse sand and small pebbles, which reaches as far as Giardini Naxos.
From the port of Riposto, on clear days, you can enjoy the view of Taormina and Castelmola and even Calabria.
In the village there are some green spaces with games for children and large paved spaces in front of the Town Hall and the Mother Church.
The seafront is beautiful, enriched by a cycle path several km long.
