The city is served by the A18 motorway, still under construction and in operation up to the Ispica - Pozzallo junction, with which it is possible to reach Syracuse and Catania. The other main extra-urban roads that connect Pozzallo to the other urban centers are the SP 45 for Modica, the SP 46 and the SS 115 for Ispica and the SP 66 for Sampieri, which also acts as a ring road and connection with the SS 194, which allows reach Ragusa.
Pozzallo is located along the Syracuse-Gela-Canicattì railway and from its station regional trains leave for Ragusa and Syracuse.
From the port there is a scheduled connection to Malta operated by Virtu Ferries Limited. Near the port structure there is also a civil heliport, frequently used for helicopter rescue.
