Further pictures and information on specific request. We are happy to organize a viewing appointment. nn San Martin de Tor is one of the five Ladin municipalities of Val Badia. It includes the villages of Pikolein, Campill and Untermoi and covers an area of about 76 km², ranging from 1,115 m to 1,515 m above sea level. The highest village is Untermoi at the foot of the Peitlerkofel, the local mountain of the community. The village name St. Martin was first used in documents dating back to 1260, in connection with a church.
The natural community has about 1,700 inhabitants and is so popular not least because of its location in the Dolomites. Culture is also very important here - St. Martin in Thurn is in fact the seat of the Ladin National Museum Ciastel de Tor as well as the Ladin Cultural Institute Micurà de Rü. In addition, the mill valley with its "viles" awaits visitors in Campill, one of the most original types of settlements in this area. Another attraction in St. Martin in Thurn is nature - the Puez-Odle Nature Park and the "pale mountains" offer space for recreation in all seasons.
In winter it's off to the slopes! The connection to the skiing area Kronplatz is only 1 km away from St. Martin. Also the slopes of the Sellaronda in Alta Badia can be reached by shuttle every 20 minutes. Cross-country skiers, on the other hand, will enjoy the 6.5 km panoramic trail at the foot of the Peitlerkofel. St. Martin in Thurn - a successful combination of culture and nature that makes a vacation unforgettable. nn nn We generally recommend having the building law situation checked by a specialist lawyer.
