It was known to the Romans as Arretium. Arezzo was made in the 11th century (AD) a free commune, siding with the Ghibellines. Arezzo is also famous for Guido d'Arezzo, the Medieval abbot who originated solfeggio (the mnemonic music system known to many from the song in The Sound of Music that starts "Doe, a deer"). Nowadays, it is an agricultural trade center and has machine, clothing, gold, and jewelry industries and is also a tourist center. The Property can be reached through the Arezzo antique gate of San Clemente  (Link: https://it.worldorgs.com/Catalogare/arezzo/punto-di-riferimento-storico/porta-s-clemente ).  The building is from 11th -12th Century and is located in the historical centre of Arezzo.  In the Renaissance (1300-1500AD) the road was dedicated to the labor of grain mills and in the basement still are pits used at time for grain conservation.  And it’s about 500mt walking from University of Oklahoma (Link: https://www.ou.edu/cis/education_abroad/programs/ou-in-arezzo ), and the Church of Saint Dominic (Link; https://www.discoverarezzo.com/en/location/the-church-of-saint-dominic/ ); about 900 meters from The Saint Francesco’s Basilica (Link: https://www.ilbelcasentino.it/saint-francis-church-arezzo-en.php ).  Since the construction the property has been restored/renewed every 20/30 years. At present, is under restructuring following the most strictly directives from European Union (EU) and Italy aiming to the reduce the CO2 emission and having zero balance by 2050. During this restoration the EU and Italy strictly directive are implemented in order reducing the CO2 building emission by increasing thermal insulation with Bio-products (cork).  At the same time reducing the dynamic load  and risks of collapsing of the building in the unfortunate event of an earthquake (Seismic Event).
