This hunters lodge 'Podere Gora' is located in the middle of Guicciardini's vineyards along la Gora river, and  is located South-west of Florence.  It has a private access road  and is 30 minute driving distance from Florence (30.8 km) via SP 80 Del Virginio and SGC Firenze. It is 30 minutes from Siena and its nearest Airport is Florence Peretola Airport 'Amerigo Vespucci' (20km) and Pisa Airport 'Galileo Galilei' (55 km).

It is close to historic hilltop towns: Montespertoli, Certaldo and San Casciano in Val di Pesa
In the vicinity there is a Golf Club - Montelupo (12 km), sports center and tennis courts.  Close to a local hospital Empoli (20 km) and the local town of Montespertoli has supermarkets, farmers market and schools up to middle school. 

The house has a side entrance into the kitchen via a stairway and a main entrance from the rear into the main hallway.  Two glass and sturdy wooden doors opening to the back terrace, the security is of high level with bars on the upstairs windows and a an internal iron gate to the top floor. 

There is a large dining and lounge area, a kitchen with the original wood oven for making bread and pizza.  It has access to an external dinning terrace overlooking Castello di Poppiano. There is also another ample an office/childrens play room.  Upstairs there are four large bedrooms all with two large windows overlooking the 360 degree spectacular views.  Two bathrooms one large housing a bath and shower and another with a shower. An attic with ample space for storage.
