The house is situated as a sentinel of the walls of the ancient village of Gavorrano, town that rises on a panoramic hill 10 km from the sea, half an hour's drive to the popular town of: Puntala, Castiglione della Pescaia and Massa Marittima.

The house that is inserted in the walls between Medieval towers, has an extraordinary position with view over the wonderful gulf of Follonica, lovely maritime city, with Elba island and Corsica on the background.

It is composed of an entrance on a terrace with gate and railing in wrought iron.
Entering inside the old dwelling, that is one of the most ancient of the country, you have the sensation to go back in time, in a real jewel of the Medieval architecture, with high ceilings and walls thick more than a metre.

Restored by a master of the masonry, expert in bringing back the old houses to their former glory, you can admire the high ceilings with wooden beams in the big living room, an arch as profile of a beautiful window and another connecting the living room and the lounge, that has an original brick vaulted ceiling and it leans on the wall of the adjacent tower.
The two bedrooms, both with vaulted ceilings, are of rare beauty and are situated in the inside part of the house where no one will disturb your sleep.
A lovely bathroom and a functioning kitchen, with marble sink and a stylish furniture, complete the house.

Restoring the house, it came up that there were invisible parts of the house that were covered by further brickwork, for example an old door that according to the historian of the town, Dr. Salvucci, dates back to the thirteenth century and had the function to communicate with the tunnel that run outside the house.
