17th Century Villa with Easy Car access, an annex, and land.  

Fantastic 17th Century Villa along the old processional road to Pescaglia.  This villa was partly lived in until the 1980's and, indeed, even has a boiler from that period.
The courtyard was originally open to the road to allow the carrages going to the Municipal town of Pescaglia to enter in the, now cantina but was once the garage for the carraiges.  One see that the stone of the wall has been sculpted to allow the carrages easy access without damaging the wheels. 
There is a chapel under the loggia which was consecrated until 30 years ago and formed part of the religious procession from Diecimo to Pescaglia.
The ground floor consists of 5 cantinas and the original kitchen with French doors out to the garden.

The position of the village is strategic with easy access to the dormitory town of Diecimo and the station to take one to Lucca.  This area is within very easy commuting access for local people too.
