“La Crocetta” farmhouse (about 120 sqm) is in good structural condition and has central heating but needs complete restoration and modernisation. Removal of the plaster would expose the beautiful local stones of which it was built.

La Crocetta” farmhouse is built over 3 levels with central staircase. Each floor has 2 rooms and there is a WC room on the ground floor.

There is a garden area at the back of the house and woodland in front - a total of 3.5ha (just under 8 acres)

A well stocked grocer, café/pizzeria and post office are about 1.5 km away, in the centre of Chiozza.

Chiozza is a very pretty, friendly village in the Apennine mountains, about 10km from the well known market town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana (which has a train station on the main Pisa – Lucca - Aulla line) and 75km (just over 1 ½ hours drive) to Pisa airport.

The beautiful walled city of Lucca is about 60km away. A 10 minute drive takes you up to the small local ski resort at Passo delle Radici (9km) while the large resort of Abetone is about 40 minutes. The coast is about 1 hour away.
