Vineyards and Winemaking at Villa Solaria

The vineyards of Villa Solaria were fully hand-planted between 2002 and 2008, with a high-density planting system (7,000 plants per hectare), utilizing the winter months to encourage spring rainfall. The first harvest was in 2005.

The vineyards include a selection of Tuscan and international grape varieties, including Sangiovese, Pugnitello, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Verdicchio, Trebbiano, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier.

The cellar is fully equipped for winemaking, bottling, and wine storage, with a production capacity of up to 200,000-250,000 bottles per year. Currently, the production is around 100,000 bottles, with half of the production sold. The facility also includes a tasting and event room with an outdoor terrace, ideal for exclusive events.
