"La Canonica di Todi" a former Monastery dating back to the twelth century. Located high above the Valley, it is surrounded by olive trees and breathtaking views of the Umbrian countryside in the town of Todi. The origins of this Hamlet date back to the 1200's
In the 70's the artist Piero Dorazio, the father of Italian Abstraction made the ancient monastery his permanent home. Many people of high artistic and cultural depth were entertained at the Villa. They came to admire and recognize his masterpieces, and enjoy the large estate. Now the Estate belongs to his heirs who have maintained the original splendor and character. The estate is surrounded by 15 acres of land; in which you can find olive groves, vineyards, fruit trees, vegtable gardens and also truffles.
