This is the former Romiati agricultural company.
In 1987 Dr. Giorgio Romiati takes over the management, committing himself to reclaiming first the 3,000 marshy hectares of the estate, then the remaining entire territory of the Lower Piave.


During the First World War, doctor Romiati alternated between providing aid to the wounded and directing war actions as an army officer. Thanks to his knowledge of the area and in particular of the Livenza and Brian rivers, he led an army towards the enemy lines, bypassing them by navigating these rivers.
During the Second World War, however, he committed himself to directing the military hospital in Pordenone, fighting against malaria and saving many soldiers and officers.


In 1932 he built the small church of S. Maria degli Angeli in the Tigli Valley (a few km away from this cottage).
With the help and skill of his wife and painter Carlotta Prosdocimi, who took 7 years to paint the frescoes present, this church still remains a place to visit with curiosity and interest.


Returning to the property for sale, its position should be enhanced as in a few minutes you can arrive right in the center of Caorle and this makes it a very attractive context for the amount of tourism that this town develops.

The entrance is triumphal.
The gate opens onto the tree-lined avenue that leads to the heart of the garden, which extends for approximately 17 thousand m2.
